Technically, there are two major types of Inflators that are used with the diving bcds. They include the manual and the power Inflators. The major aim of an Inflator is to fill the bcd with air, only that the mechanism of the two is different. To begin with, the power Inflator is linked to the tank, through a hose with a low pressure. You will only need to press the button, which will allow air to get into the device. Conversely, the manual Inflator, which is also called the oral Inflator, allows you to fill the device with air by blowing it. You will blow into the inflator hose through the mouthpiece. There is a button that locks the hose, which you will be needed to open it up and blow air through it. This Inflator is mostly linked besides the power Inflator button.
